De carrière van Rosina (Louwaars) begon in de jaren 70 waar ze in het t.v. programma “Haal het doek maar op” de pers, publieksprijs en de juryprijs won en voor haar het balletje ging rollen. Tijdens haar deelname aan de Conamus liedjesbeurs kwam ze in contact met Peter Koelewijn die graag haar eerste plaat wilden schrijven en produceren “Welcome home”.

Tijdens haar deelname aan het Oostende Songfestival leert ze de bandleden van de Sommerset kennen en al snel wordt ze van deze band de leadzangeres wat resulteerde in hits als “Almost Persuaded” en “Another lonely night”. Nummers die nu nog bijna dagelijks voorbij komen bij diverse radiostations. Met Sommerset toerde ze o.a. ook door Amerika. Op uitnodiging trad Sommerset op in the famous The grand Ole Opry in Nashville en New York.

In 1978 verlaat Rosina de band om zich meer te kunnen ontwikkelen en komt Eddy Ouwens tegen en even gedreven als hij is vraagt hij of Rosina samen met twee leden van de “close harmony” groep als het trio Harmony wil deelnemen aan het Songfestival. Na de voorrondes in het Congresgebouw van Den Haag, wat resulteerde in een overwinning met het lied “T is OK”, eindigt Harmony op een 12e plaats van het Eurovisie songfestival in het Palais des Congres van Parijs. De groep trad zowel in het binnenland als buitenland veel op.

Daarna zong Rosina in de groep Champagne die een paar singles uitbracht die over de Nederlandse grens wel aardig scoorde. De groep viel na een paar jaar uit elkaar omdat Rosina in het buitenland ging wonen.

Rosina's (Louwaars) career started in the 1970s where she won the press, audience award and jury prize in the t.v. programme "Haal het doek maar op" and the ball got rolling for her. During her participation in the Conamus song fair, she came into contact with Peter Koelewijn who was keen to write and produce her first record "Welcome home".

During her participation in the Ostend Song Contest, she met the band members of the Sommerset and soon became the lead singer of this band which resulted in hits like "Almost Persuaded" and "Another lonely night". Songs that are still heard almost daily on various radio stations today. She also toured America with Sommerset. By invitation, Sommerset performed at the famous The grand Ole Opry in Nashville and New York.

In 1978, Rosina left the band to develop more and met Eddy Ouwens and, as driven as he was, he asked if Rosina would like to participate in the Song Contest together with two members of the "close harmony" group as the trio Harmony. After the preliminaries at The Hague's Congresgebouw, which resulted in a win with the song "T is OK", Harmony finished in 12th place of the Eurovision Song Contest at Paris' Palais des Congres. The group performed widely both at home and abroad.

Rosina then sang in the group Champagne, which released a few singles that did score quite well across the Dutch border. The group fell apart after a few years because Rosina went to live abroad.
